Composed of two judges per State, appointed for a period of six years and renewable by half every two years. Its President is elected from among its members for a period of one year. It shall hear disputes relating to the interpretation and application of the Treaty and agreements concluded within the framework of the Union which the Presidency Council or one of the States parties to the dispute shall submit to it; or in accordance with its Statutes. Its sentences are enforceable and final. It also issues advisory opinions on legal matters submitted by the Presidency Council.
